The Funky Butt Swing and Dance Ensemble is a modern take on what used to be called a society band - from The Charleston to James Brown, we love to dance the iPod shuffle! From functions with a beat to parties in the street, this is the swing band that will bring colour, style and elegance to your event.

We named our swing band after a famous club in New Orleans. We wanted a name that somehow referenced our approach to music; so, although we don't necessarily play in the New Orleans style we always celebrate the spirit of New Orleans music. I.e. FUN music.
